Client Management Additional Customer Data Entry Billing Contacts
There are two types of Contacts located and maintained within the Customer Explorer record; Billing Contacts and Site Contacts. If the Billing Contact being created is also a Site Contact, you may flag the Contact as a Site Contact during the Billing Contact setup process.
A Billing Contact is the person your company would contact to speak about billing matters. Each Bill To record has its own list of Billing Contacts. You may create as many Billing Contacts as needed. Follow the instructions below to create a new Billing Contact.
A Site Contact is a person your company would contact to speak about non-billing matters. Site Contacts are typically used by the Service and Installation employees within your organization.
1. From the customer tree, highlight the Contacts menu option below the Bill To for which a new Contact will be created. Right-click and select the New Bill Contact option. A blank New Contact form will be displayed. This form is divided into three tabs; Contact Information, Web Login and Bills and Sites. Each of these data entry forms will be described on the following pages under the corresponding tab heading.
