Access Cards (continued)

The Access Cards form is divided into two tiers; the upper tier displays a list of previously entered Access Card Information and the lower tier is where new Access Card Information is entered or edited.  As new Access Cards are added and saved they will appear in the upper tier of the form.

To add an Access Card record, click the New button located at the lower right of the form.  Enter the field information according your company policy and procedures.  Click the Save button on the Access Cards form when finished entering the record.  When finished entering all records, click the Save button located at the lower right of the System form.

Site Code – The Site Code field is optional, however if the cards contain a site code that value should be entered into this field, so the next time cards are needed, the access cards with the correct site code is ordered.  Site codes for 26-bit systems are between 0 and 255

Part/Description – Enter the exact part number or click the lookup icon to the right of the Part field to locate the part number.  The Description will automatically fill in once a valid part number has been entered or selected.

Issued – Enter the date or select a date using the calendar icon to the right of this field.  This is the date the access cards were issued to the customer.

Beginning Card # – Enter the beginning card number in the series that is being issued to the customer.

Ending Card # – Enter the ending card number in the series that is being issued to the customer.

Quantity – The quantity will automatically be calculated and displayed based on the beginning and ending card numbers entered in the previous fields.

 

Note:  This is a double-save form; click the Save button on the Access Card form to add new Access Card information then click the second Save button located at the bottom of the System form once all Access Card information has been entered.
