Monitoring

The Central Station Tracking Monitoring form is used to track services for which you are paying an wholesale central station for monitoring the system.  Each service entered is linked to a recurring item for which your customer is being invoiced for this service.  Using this option provides a good check and balance to make certain recurring lines have been set up to invoice your customer for the services for which you are paying the central station.

A report is available on the Report Manger that you are able to generate and compare with the invoice you receive from your Central Station to use in reconciling the invoice.  This report, Central Station Reconciliation, is time sensitive.  This report would need to be generated and saved or printed on the cut-off date from your Central Station.  Typically this is the last day of the month.

If a new system is being installed on an installation job, the monitoring information is typically entered once the recurring has been activated through job invoicing.
