Client Management Customer Explorer Overview
Once a new Customer has been created, the Customer Explorer form is displayed containing the structure of the customer and other information related to the customer, its sites and systems.
The customer tree of the Customer Explorer record is composed of two major sections; the Customer Structure Functions and Customer Tree Options & Activities. All customer tree options above the Activity Ledger are part of the customer structure. From the Activity Ledger down is the Activity and Information for the Customer. Refer to the Customer Explorer Functions for an illustration of the Customer Tree.
The customer structure section of the Customer Explorer is designed in a menu tree fashion with sub menus below some menu tree items. Clicking on the “+” sign to the left of each menu item will expand the menu tree to reveal additional information and menu options. Additional information will be displayed in the Active Pane as each menu tree item is highlighted. If no activity has occurred for the menu tree item selected, the active pane will be blank.
The Customer Explorer is divided into four panes with which all Users should become familiar, and are described below:
Pane A – This is the Customer menu tree which contains menu items specifically related to the Customer account being viewed.
Pane B – Billing information; this pane will always display the following information:
Customer Name, the Primary Bill To Name, Address and Telephone Number.
Pane C – Additional customer information; this pane will display the following information:
The total A/R balance due for the Customer, total active RMR (recurring monthly revenue), total active RAR (recurring annual revenue), customer type, customer since date, and the salesperson for the Customer.
As activity occurs for the Customer, additional information is displayed in this pane such as: EFT pending amount, last payment date and amount, and the collection status of the customer if delinquent.
