Service Job Costing Overview
The SedonaOffice application offers the option of job costing expenses incurred on Service and Inspections tickets for Labor and Materials. If these options are selected in SedonaSetup, your company may view the profitability of each Ticket. If posting expenses to tickets your company has the option of using WIP (work in process) accounts or posting the expense as it occurs.
Below and on the next page are diagrams describing how costs for labor and materials are posted to tickets using WIP accounts or expensing immediately.
