Schedule a Job Appointment
Scheduling Job Appointments Overview
There are two main Job related features available in SedonaSchedule; the ability to view the list of open Jobs which is similar to the Job Queue in the main SedonaOffice application, and the ability to create/dispatch and manage Job Appointments. Both of these features may be accomplished from a Job record within the main application, however for companies that want to manage all appointments in one place, SedonaSchedule was designed for this purpose.
Scheduling Job Appointments in SedonaSchedule is quite a bit different than the method available within a Job record. In SedonaSchedule, you are able to schedule Job Appointments on multiple dates for the same Installer as well as multiple Installers and dates all from one form – this feature is not available when scheduling within a Job record in the main SedonaOffice application.
Of course, there is nothing preventing companies from scheduling from a Job record; it is a matter of preference for each company.
Instructions for scheduling Job Appointments in this topic section will only cover creating these appointments within SedonaSchedule. Instructions for scheduling appointments from a Job Record are contained in the Job Management topic group.
There are two methods available to get to the Job Scheduling form:
From the Schedule Board - this is the easiest method to use if you are scheduling a single Technician on a particular day. Click on the link for instructions using this method.
From the Open Jobs List - this method would typically be used if multiple Technicians and/or multiple days are being scheduled. Click on the link for instructions using this method.
