The Instruction form is divided into two tiers; the upper tier displays a list of instructions and the lower tier is where new instructions are entered or edited. As new instructions are added and saved they will appear in the upper tier of the form.
To add an Instruction record, press the New button located at the lower right of the form. Enter the field information according your company policy and procedures. Press the Save button when finished entering the Instruction information. To add additional Instructions, press the New button again to add the next Instruction until all records are entered. When finished entering all records, press the Save button located at the lower right of the System form.
Signal Type - Make a selection from the drop-down list.
Zone – If the Instruction is for a particular zone number, select the Zone radio button then make a zone selection from the drop-down list. If this is a general instruction for a Signal Type only, do not select the Zone radio button.
Date Range/Permanent – If the Instruction is to be used for a specific date range, select the Date Range radio button; from and to date fields will be displayed when selecting this button. Enter the date range for which the Instruction is valid. If this Instruction is to be considered permanent, select the Permanent radio button.
Instruction Text Box – Type in the specific Instruction information into the text box.
4. Press the Save button when finished.
To add additional Instructions, follow the same steps above.
Note: This is a double-save form; the User will press the Save button on the Instruction form to add Instruction information then press the second Save button located at the bottom of the System form once all Instruction information has been entered.
