Billing Overrides

The Billing Overrides section allows a User to override the automatically calculated charges for the Service Ticket. 

Override Warranty

Systems Under Warranty:  If the System is still covered by the warranty, the User may select the Override Warranty option which will cause the application to calculate charges based on the setup of the Service Level assigned to the Service Ticket.

 

Override Service Level

Systems Under Warranty:  If the System is under warranty and needs to invoice the customer for charges normally covered by the Service Level assigned to the Service Ticket, the User will select the Override Warranty option and the Override Service Level option and then will be able to manually change billing rates for Parts, Labor and Other charges.

Systems out of Warranty:  If the System is out of warranty and the User needs to invoice the customer for charges covered by the Service Level assigned to the Service Ticket, selecting the Override Service Level option will allow the User to manually change billing rates for Parts, Labor and Other charges.
