Scheduling Tasks is the main purpose of the Job Planner, regardless of the User’s role. In the illustration below, the general process flow is shown. The User plans Tasks within the Gantt Chart by dragging them to the desired schedule dates/times, makes requests for Tasks using the right-click context menu, submits requests when they’re satisfied with their plan, and schedules requests to complete the process.
As will be seen in the following pages, there are a number of ways that the User can schedule Tasks, but you cannot schedule a Task until it becomes a Request.
