Job Scheduling
There are two options available for scheduling Installers to work on a Job; the Job Schedule or the Appointment Summary. Each scheduling method employs different functionality; your company should test both methods to determine which method will work best for your business situation.
The Job Schedule is used exclusively for scheduling installation Jobs. Jobs are scheduled for one or more days. A particular time of arrival or length of the appointment is not specified using this method.
The Appointment Summary is used to assign an appointment to a particular Installer on a particular day at a particular time. This scheduling method is also used for scheduling Service Tickets. If your Installers and service Technicians can do both install Jobs and Service Tickets, your company may decide to use this method so that both Job appointments and Service appointments may be managed on the same scheduling board. If your installations and service tickets are managed separately, your company may still use this scheduling method and be able to filter the Appointment Summary on just the employees assigned to work on installation Jobs.
